NTAR are at the awards again this week having been shortlisted in the category of Apprenticeship Development Scheme! Having won or been shortlisted for 6 awards since our opening 15 months ago, we are now attending the UK Rail Industry Awards (UKRIA) in Battersea.
Since the establishment of the UK Rail Industry Awards, it has recognised innovation across the industry and is widely regarded as a high profile and important event in the Rail calendar. We have been shortlisted alongside other leading industry figures for the stimulating, authentic and social apprenticeship schemes we provide lead and specialist provision for.
Our nomination highlights how we are tailoring our training of apprentices to the capabilities and demands of post-millenials, using the most current and innovative methods in order to engage and entice apprentices, as well as career changers, to the rail industry. Our unique combination of on the job learning, placements, professional and personal development and team-building means we are returning highly skilled, motivated and stimulated apprentices into the workforce, helping to address the current skills shortage the industry is facing.
Through our high-tech digital classrooms and workshops, our partner network of rail and non rail innovators, and driven team of NTAR trainers and staff, we are responding to the ever growing government focus and investment in the industry, and are delivering unique, effective and engaging learning measures, creating a world class apprenticeship scheme.
At NTAR we enable businesses to run high quality apprenticeship programmes aligned to their individual needs, goals and values. NTAR are honoured that the industry has recognised this in shortlisting us for this award and we look forward to joining them next year.
